Installation
Installing the Poplight is simple and quick, taking most people under 20 seconds from start to finish. The Poplight comes beautifully packaged for shipping in a box including the light, battery pack, base and charging cord.
Poplights can be installed on almost all finished wall surfaces. But, for optimal stick, clean your wall with isopropyl acohol 24 hours prior to installation. Without any tools, the installation goes as follows:
- Uncover sticky tabs on base
- Stick and Press the base firmly onto the wall (base has a built in level for easy installation)
- Swivel and click the Poplight onto the base
- Touch and hold bottom of base to bring brightness up, touch and hold again to dim
Ease of Use
To charge the Poplight, you have a couple of options. The pop light is USB-C rechargeable, which is better for the planet (energy efficient) and easy for you. If you like the wired light look, you can charge the Poplight while it’s connected to the base on the wall. If not, simple press the battery to pop it out and charge it anywhere. The battery takes about four hours for a full charge. The battery lasts for 5 to 9 hours depending on the brightness setting you use.
The founders of Poplight truly thought of everything. They have an App which syncs to your Poplight via Bluetooth for selecting light tone (cool, neutral & warm), dimming the brightness, setting light timers, and checking battery life. You can even group Poplights together to adjust their settings on the App simultaneously. How convenient?!
Uninstalling & Reinstalling
Uninstalling and/or moving your Poplight is both easy and damage free. To uninstall, the steps go as follows:
- Swivel to unclick Poplight from base
- Press firmly on base
- Pull straight down slowly on sticky tabs and base will come right off
To reinstall your Poplight somewhere else, you’ll need to purchase an extra adhesive pack from their website.
- Stick the double side adhesive tabs on base with “wall” side facing out
- Follow previous installation instructions
